I teach undergraduate surveys of Korean and East Asian history and special topics courses on war, cultural history, migration and borders, and family history. I also teach graduate seminars in historiography and historical theory organized around specific interpretive problems in Korean Studies, including militarism, transpacific studies, and anticommunist internationalism.
